Shirring Elastic Sewing Thread by Gold-Zack is a premium, narrow cord elastic measuring approximately 0.5mm in diameter. This elastic thread, also known as shirring elastic, is perfect for creating an elasticated effect on various garments such as jumpers, skirts, pants, gloves, caps, socks, and anklewarmers. It can easily be sewn onto waistbands, necklines, sleeves, waistlines, cuffs, and more. Whether for dressmaking, crocheting, DIY projects, or crafts, the high elastane content allows for easy stretch and recovery, providing reliable elasticity for a variety of garments. Unlike regular elastic, it is less likely to cause necks and jumpers to stretch out. Made from superior polyester and latex, this elastic is both soft and flexible.
