Schmetz quality industrial needles are suitable for lightweight to medium weight knitwear, woven fabrics and soft leather. For zipper and chainstitch, double chainstitch, cover chain stitch machines e.g. Union Special 11500. All needles in a system are of the same length and shank size, but are of various diameters. Lower size numbers are narrower or thinner needles used for lighter materials. Higher size numbers indicate a needle of thicker diameter, used for heavier materials. Available in regular point and ball point styles. Sold in packs of 100.
